The Tenuta Maria Teresa is a registered agriturismo that produces first class wines, extra virgin organic olive oil (DOP Lucca) and honey. Guests will have the opportunity of tasting the products of the estate and can also purchase them from the estate office. In the estate there are three indipendent houses for holiday rentals.

Accommodation
The house is situated less then a kilometre from the main villa of the estate, between the villages of Mutigliano and San Martino in Vignale. It stands in a wonderfully secluded and enchanting location, on a east facing bank that backs onto woodland of ancient evergreen oaks and Mediterranean pines. The house is approximately 6 km from Lucca. The central heating is provided for winter guests. A twice-weekly cleaning service is included.

The garden and the swimming pool
The swimming pool is a sunken pool measuring 8 x 4 metres. It is open from the beginning of May until the end of September. The bathing area is equipped with an outside shower. The garden, which is completely private, is equipped with a barbeque and a wood oven. An outside table offers the possibility of eating al fresco. There are two covered parking spaces.

Guests are asked to arrive between 17.00 and 20.00 on the Saturday of arrival and depart by 10.00 on the day of departure.

Foresta (sleeps 8 / 10 - swimming pool and private garden)

Location
The Tenuta Maria Teresa is situated 6 kilometres from Lucca, on the Strada del Vino (the wine road). Foresta is a further kilometre from the principle villa of the estate, located halfway between the villages of Mutigliano and San Martino in Vignale. The house stands on a gentle, sunny slope, surrounded by vineyards, looking towards the Alpi Apuane and the plains of Lucca to the east.

Accommodation
The property, which was once a farmhouse, has been renovated to a very high standard while maintaining much of its original character. It is furnished with fine furniture and equipped with a wide range of modern appliances to offer maximum comfort. In reality Foresta comprises two houses; the main farmhouse and an annexe, the latter being a tastefully converted hay barn. The main house sleeps 6 (two double bedrooms and a twin) all with en suite bathrooms. The annexe, which has two floors, has a double bedroom upstairs and a living space with a kitchenette on the ground floor. The main house has an extra bedroom to accommodate a baby-sitter or an extra guest. All bedrooms have an independent air-conditioning system. The kitchen of the main house is equipped with a dishwasher, microwave oven, an electric oven and an ice machine. There is a clothes washing machine and a tumble dryer. Each bedroom has a telephone. Internet access is possible with an Isdn line. A fax machine and a stereo system are provided. There are two televisions, both with DVD players, and one having a satellite decoder. The central heating is provided for winter guests. A twice-weekly cleaning service is included.

Aurelio is some hundreds metres before the principle villa of the estate, located along the Via per Pieve S. Stefano in San Martino in Vignale. The house stands on a gentle, sunny hill, surrounded by olive trees and vineyards , looking towards the plain of Lucca. It really has a magnificent, dominant sight.

The property, which was once a farmhouse, has been renovated to a very high standard while maintaining much of its original character. It is furnished with fine furniture and equipped with a wide range of modern appliances to offer maximum comfort. The house sleeps 6 (one double bedroom and two twin bedrooms) all with en suite bathrooms. All bedrooms have an independent air-conditioning system. The kitchen with fireplace is equipped with dishwasher, microwave oven, a nice cooker with oven and a big fridge with ice machine , but meals are taken in an elegant adjacent dining room.
